David S. Klein, MD, Founder of Stages of Life Medical Institute, is a pioneer in pain management. He was the first to open a clinic solely dedicated to pain relief in the U.S. in the 1980s and continues to redefine best practices to this day.
Our purpose and mission is to deliver quality office-based medical services in an unthreatening, relaxed, and friendly atmosphere. We focus our attention on the diagnosis first and foremost. Without an accurate diagnosis, therapeutic intervention is destined to fail.

We specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of pain sources, whether from disease or injury, in the head, neck, back, shoulders, hip, knees, feet--wherever our patients are feeling acute discomfort.
What does the process of getting a consultation look like?
It is quite common for our patients to undergo extensive endocrine evaluation, followed by nutritional analysis. Essentially, our philosophy is to identify those areas of inadequacy and replace with bio-identical molecules. We then look to restoration of balance, and then the remarkable occurs.
